The American Consumer Opinion Scam: Good Luck Getting Paid

By | November 13, 2015

American Consumer Opinion scamI can totally understand that a lot of people think that taking surveys would be a great way to make money from home. You just sit in front of your computer complete a survey and get paid for that and you do not even have to leave the house. Further you do not need to have any experience at all, you do not have to know how to make money on the internet, you only need to have your own opinion. Yeah I know that might sound great but it really isn´t. Taking surveys is a big waste of time – especially for American Consumer Opinion. I tried this survey site myself, just as many other survey sites, and my experience was not a positive one. Wanna know why I call it The American Consumer Opinion Scam? Read my American Consumer Opinion review below.

What Is American Consumer Opinion?

American Consumer Opinion is just another survey site on the internet. You also can earn money by doing other things on this site, but most people just come for the surveys.

Of course you do not earn money directly by taking surveys. You earn points for every completed survey and if you gathered $1000 points you can request a reward. 1000 points are worth $10 at this survey site.

So far so good, let´s get to the meat!

Signing up for American Consumer Opinion

I know that survey sites need a lot of information from their members, because they have to determine for what kind of surveys you are qualified … well at least the survey sites want to make you think that.

However I did not only have to give them my name and tell them in which country I live, I also had to tell them the exact address and I had to give them my phone number. It feels a little bit weird to give such a company my personal details, since many survey sites sell your personal details and after that your email address will be bombarded with promotions and other stuff.

Taking the Surveys

Noooow it get´s interesting my friend. At the beginning you get a lot of surveys from American Consumer Opinion, so it seems that this site is legit and you can make money quickly. However after a while it slows down. You will not be able to take as much surveys as in the beginning and reaching the 1000 points to cash out is going to be pretty hard.

So everything American Consumer Opinion does is manipulate you. They want to lure you into their membership, make you think that you can make a quick buck there and after that, you only get a few surveys to complete.

Besides that … wanna hear a funny story regarding the payment?

Good luck receiving your payment from American Consumer Opinion

Reaching the 1000 points at American Consumer Opinion can be hard as hell, but eventually you can reach the amount of points and I am sure you want to reap the rewards then. Well … good luck!

In the next Mission Impossible movie, Tom Cruise should try to receive a payment from American Consumer Opinion. I bet that would be the first movie where Tom fails.

Wanna make money from home? It is not an impossible mission!

Yes, you heard right, if you are thinking that you would get paid by American Consumer Opinion I have to tell you that this is not guaranteed. A lot of people got scammed by this survey site. They reached the 1000 points or more and cashed out. They did not receive their payment and of course they tried to contact the company. Most of them did not ever receive a reply from American Consumer Opinion.

Other people who actually received a payment from American Consumer Opinion said, that they had to wait 8 weeks to get their payment .. what the hell?

Have a look at this review on Survey Police:

Reviews of like this of ACO are all over the internet.

How about that? Who in the world would want to work for a company without getting paid? I bet this is not what you want.

Is American Consumer Opinion a scam? My Verdict

I mean, I think that I do not have to tell you that this survey site is definitely legit. You complete the surveys to get paid and not for fun. I do not recommend you to join this survey site if you do not want to waste your time.

Stay Away from the American Consumer Opinion Scam!

Why you should not waste your time with survey sites

I know that paid surveys always sound like a good idea, because it is so easy to complete them. I understand that. However if you really want to make money online, survey sites are the wrong place.

You have to keep in mind, that most survey sites only pay you a few cents for completing a survey. Completing a survey can take 20 minutes to one hour, so that means that you work for only a few cents per hour. Further most survey sites only send you one or two surveys per week (if you are lucky!) so it will take very long to actually gather enough points to get your rewards.

Yes, taking surveys is not a real job, but do you really want to waste your time with that? I bet the answer is: No!

If you really want to make money online have a look at this. This shows you how I started my own online business with no experience at all. I was just a person who wanted to learn how to make money from home, just like you might be.

Today I make a consistent income online. Hope this helps!

wow thats a lot of work to go through for the potential of ten bucks. it would be interesting to figure out what it works out to be in “paid per hour” ratio, do you think its even a penny an hour?
i take a lot of surveys online, not with these guys, and so far i have made 10$ for my paypal account ping for and a 10$ amazon credit – and thats after 4 months of answering every question.

      Hey Lori,

to be honest, it is not even worth the time to figure out if it is a penny per hour 🙂
So you made $20 in 4 months? I mean 20 bucks are 20 bucks, but it isn´t reallymuch for that time isn´t it?

      Cheers,

      Pierre
